# Hardware Assembly

The cable connections between all parts of the system are shown in the schematic below.

Each LED strip connects to one of the LED strip channels (outputs 1–5). The strip conductors are: `GND` (blue), `Data` (black) and `+5V` (brown).

## Power Supply

Power can be supplied through PoE or USB. The internal PoE converter is limited to 4 W.

When using 4 m or 5 m LED strips and/or more than 2 SMC buttons, it is recommended to use USB or an external PoE splitter with a higher wattage (for example the joy-it SBC-POE-POWER-C with 10 W).
